Nations League Final Round: England, Spain and Croatia Play Their Last Games

Tuesday 6 October is the final matchday of this Nations League block. After tonight the competition takes a break until 12 November, so if you want to see your national team play, this is your window.

What is on tonight

England vs Czechia at Wembley (20:45 CET) is the big one for English fans. Croatia vs Spain in Split is the pick for neutrals, especially after Croatia’s 0-7 defeat to England at the weekend — they will want a reaction. Scotland host Slovenia at Hampden, and Switzerland take on North Macedonia. A handful of League C games also decide who goes up.

Messi’s last dance

Elsewhere, Lionel Messi plays his final match for Argentina tonight against Benin at the Monumental in Buenos Aires. 207 caps, 125 goals and a World Cup. Kick-off is around 01:00 CET, so it is a late one for European viewers. For Argentina fans scattered around the world, it is worth staying up.

Watching from abroad

Here is the annoying part for expats. Your home broadcaster usually blocks you the moment you cross a border, and the local channel shows a different match from the one you care about. The fix most people use is simple: pick a service that carries the channels from your own country. No proxy games, no dodgy streams that die at 0-1.

We wrote a longer guide on watching live sports abroad, and there is a full breakdown of the Champions League matchday coming up next week. If football is not your thing, the same setup covers F1, tennis and cycling.
